The session aimed to create awareness about fire prevention, emergency response, and safety measures to be followed within the school premises.
The programme began with an informative lecture highlighting the common causes of fire accidents, different classes of fire, and preventive measures to minimize risks. The resource person emphasized the importance of staying calm during emergencies and following proper evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of students and staff.
A practical demonstration was conducted to provide hands-on knowledge about the use of fire extinguishers.
