Sport refers to an activity involving physical activity and skill. Here, two or more parties compete against each other. Sports are an integral part of human life and there is great importance of sports in all spheres of life. Furthermore, Sports help build the character and personality of a person. It certainly is an excellent tool to keep the body physically fit. Most noteworthy, the benefits of Sports are so many that books can be written. Sports have a massive positive effect on both the mind and body.
First of all, Sports strengthen the heart. Regular Sports certainly make the heart stronger. Hence, Sport is an excellent preventive measure against heart diseases. This certainly increases the life expectancy of individuals. Furthermore, a healthy heart means a healthy blood pressure.
Clubs
Clubs at schools enhance learning through interaction and discussion. Every activity carried out by the club encourages students to cultivate a different perception of life. Students get an opportunity to showcase and groom their talents. Activities conducted in schools not only benefit in shaping their interests and hobbies but also develop their leadership and social skills.
Students become more confident and independent. Clubs offer plenty of opportunities for students to take on leadership roles and show off their talents through different activities. Such initiatives enable the students to discover that they can be productive. This increases their level of confidence and their sense of independence.

Science Club: Inculcates scientific approach and delivers opportunities to develop an interest in projects to train students in techniques of innovation and creativity.
Astro Club: Arouses the interest in observing astronomical events and phenomenon around us. Helps to identify various celestial bodies like stars ,constellations and planets in the real night sky.
Math Club: Develops mathematical skills and introduces to a creative way of cracking tricky mathematical problems.
Cultural Club: Builds confidence and helps to learn from one another and share their prowess in different aspects of art and music. Encourages students to express themselves through music. Students learn different musical instruments. Develops imagination, creative thinking, and self-expression. Students learn new techniques and mediums of art through hands-on activities.
GK Club: Aims towards creating awareness about the ongoing happenings in India and world.

Tejas House :
Tejas House holds a special place in system of the Air Force School, sulur, renowned for its tradition of excellence and spirited competition. Named after the indigenous Tejas fighter aircraft, the house embodies the ethos of courage, determination, and precision that are hallmarks of the Indian Air Force.

Sarang House :
Welcome to Sarang House, one of the most vibrant and dynamic houses at Air force School Sulur, named after the Sarang helicopter. Sarang (meaning “peacock” in Sanskrit), is the helicopter aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force (IAF). Sarang House embodies the spirit of community, compassion, and camaraderie among its members. Here at Sarang, we believe in fostering a nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Band
At Air Force School, Sulur, the School Band embarked on their musical journey starting from March 2024. Dedicated to cultivating musical talents among students, the band comprises participants from 5th standard and above. They diligently gather three days a week, after school hours for practice sessions, aiming to perfect their musical skills and foster a spirit of collaboration. This initiative not only enhances their musical abilities but also promotes teamwork and discipline among the students, preparing them for potential performances and events within the school community.
