School & History
Air Force School Sulur is a Secondary School whose strong foundation was laid on 14 Oct 1981. It was registered with IAF Educational and Cultural Society on 23 Dec 2003. It caters to the academic needs of the children of AF Personnel, DSC, NCs (E) and civilians of 5 BRD, 43 Wing and its lodger units as well as local civilians subjected to the availability of seats. In total the school has 33 sections: 3 sections of class I , 2 sections of classes II & III, 3 sections of IV , 2 sections of class V & VI. 3 sections of class VII, 2 sections of class VIII, 1 section of IX & X ,05 sections of LKG and UKG, 2 sections of Balvatika with the total strength of 1057 students (Subject to Change). The school’s staff comprises of 51 teachers, Principal, Head mistress, 01 Accountant, 02 Clerks, 1 Office superintendent, 23 Non-teaching staff and 4 Bus attendants.
We aspire to put smile on the faces of children by making their experience at school healthy, informative and fun. Our school prepares all students to reach their full potential and socially responsible contributors to global community. We achieve this by fostering critical thinking and collaborative problem solving through a robust curriculum delivered by engaging and dedicated educators.
